Flame Laurel Crown

The flame laurel crown consists of a base covered with fire-colored plastic leaves.

The base starts as a thin black metal headband. Chunks of EVA foam are cut and threaded onto the headband. This will allow the leaves to sit a distance away from the head which gives the illusion of it floating around your head.

The leaves are generic autumn-colored plastic leaves. These usually come in large maple-leave shapes so they are cut into teardrop-shaped leaves.

These are then individually glued onto the EVA foam to create the flame laurel shape.

The remaining visible EVA foam is then painted with a matte black paint to hide it.
